I enjoy Wrothgar more than VVardenfel tbh.
I haven't played a warden though , and haven't messed with BGs, nor have I furnished my free house
vivec city is nice though
all things considered I'd advise getting Morrowind plus an ESO Sub for everything (but I love the game so i'm biased), but if you are looking for "most bang for your buck" I'd get ESO Gold edition (all DLCs) .

Oh I'm definitely biased as well lol. I agree Wrothgar is an as good as it gets. The world bosses are probably the toughest and getting all of the achievements difficult but rewarding

I'm slowly working my way through the maps for completing Skyshards, Books and beating Delve/Dungeon bosses. Auridon is done, bouncing back and forth between Betnick and tinkering around in Cyrodiil (have only 1 Skyshard left there but it's behind the final Ebonheart gate).
Got curious about upgrading so upgraded my Hundig's weapons.

nice! I switched to a 2 hander to mow through PVE content and with the PVP skills (vigor, caltrops). DW was getting boring.
been running Night Mother's gaze on bow bar, Hundings on DW bar, then just a Night Mother's Gaze Battle axe or maul of agility when DWing. Upgrading them to legendary makes a big difference.
I also invested some of my AP into heavy hitting siege engines this weekend (coldfire ballista, meat bag catapault, ice trebuchet) and they make a big difference. you can completely turn around a siege with a well placed ballista on a flank.
catapaulting rotten meat into a horde of EP , from your own battlements, is pretty fun. even better when a ground team flanks and cleans them all up
cyrodiil is basically PvDoor or Zerg vs Zerg , but moments of intense battle can be found if you seek it and don't die instantly

A few weekends ago we were holding one of the keeps -
can't remember the name, but it's the one with the fortified hillside that's convenient for attackers to launch attacks from. While a dozen or so of the enemy were bombing the keep from the wall I snuck out and set up my trebuchets on the hill above and behind them. Since people were firing back from the keep they never realized I was the one tearing them a new arse

that's pretty clever
. One person paying attention and thinking tactically can make a big difference
I know which keep setup you are talking about. I love attacking from there. I much prefer sieging walls vs front doors. Boiling oil hurts

I'm at about 635cp, I should max within a week or 2. I have a track coach starting this weekend, once I get him leveled we'll head to Cyrodil after Wrothgar. I'm about 2 traits away from the complete 9 trait set in Craglorn ( anyone used it? Activating 2 stones at once seems like a really good thing)

Anyone else checked out the new Clockwork City DLC? I'm liking it so far and the 30cp max increase

Elsweyr drops today for those who still play

I'm a weekend warrior since I work out of state and only home on the weekends, can't wait to check it out.

Yeah, I went on a dragon killing spree yesterday. I had to use area and quick direct damage attacks most of the time as there were so many people playing that it was only way I could get an experience bump
The map isn't to scale, as the region is much bigger than it looks, but only has 7 wayshrines, so have your mount speed up for chasing dragons

How is this game on consoles?? Does it have less of a typical MMO feel due to controller use?
Posted on 6/6/19 at 10:46 pm to JSnipe13
It's a lot like playing an updated Skyrim in a pretty open world. Sure PC is the best way to play, but I've definitely enjoyed playing on the Xbox one. The game has drastically continued to improve each year since launch. I've always stuck to the EURO servers because at launch the North American servers had some miserable issues that I never had to deal with, they fixed it, but I stuck with what I know

Yeah I’m on Xbox One X and was thinking of giving it a shot! I have a PC but sometimes I just like to sit back in the recliner and play without being hunched at my desk for hours lol.

If anyone on Xbone plays this weekend and next week, shoot me a pm, and i'll play.
I got bored after many hours of playing it. But have wanted to do caves/multi player quests and grind again.

Oh yeah, I've definitely come to appreciate consoles as I age lol
I'm just getting in with some decent groups grinding some trial gear, but I leave for Santa Fe, then LA tomorrow, so I might be out of the game for a bit depending on my WiFi

Anyone still playing ESO? I got back in the last few weeks and really enjoyed last years Blackwood chapter.
Posted on 9/11/22 at 1:30 pm to STLDawg
Yeah I started playing with my gf on Playstation. Been playing since June.

How does this work on Xbox if I see it on Game pass? Is it subscription based or what
Posted on 9/11/22 at 4:25 pm to HailToTheChiz
It should give you access to the base game, which is still a ton of content to start off with.
No subscription but there’s ESO plus which gives you access to a crafting bag and additional bank space. Also let’s you play all the DLCs/expansions up to High Isle (current expansion chapter).
