But that’s largely due to RTS being dead and not likely to bounce back anytime soon given the preferences of today’s gamers. It’s risky putting resources behind anything new (beyond remasters) and demand for the IP on the market entails a poor valuation. Doing nothing makes sense

Because we now have seen what "nailed it" looks like.
We all have.
The only thing nailed, was the coffin of a beloved franchise.
It definitely educated gamers on which journos/reviewers/streamers were to be ignored. Therefore some good came from it.

Your boy Matty was raving about this after his preview playthrough. Did you swear off him?
Like I stated previously, EA was intentionally deceitful about what they were allowing preview players to see, hence the high praise prior to its release.

1. I don't take anything I read as gospel until I look into it myself.
2. People were given one version of the game that wasn't the final version. I know you guys love to shite on the media, but that isn't some grand conspiracy, just a publisher intentionally deceiving everyone.
Again, I didn't start this thread like "look guys, woke game might rule". I hadn't played anything so how would I know? But knowing there are a lot of DA fans on this board, I figured it would be welcomed news.
The amount of shite I got for this, while predictable, was dumb and simple as hell.
