Do y'all still have a Rust server going? I've recently gotten hooked, but I'm not very good and am looking for a server that isn't quite so sweaty.

I just started playing. Great game but tough on newbies. We. Need to get a clan with TD accounts. Would be fun especially with mics

Definitely. I took a break, but came back to it last week. It's such a great game where every wipe is an adventure, but as you said, it's brutal on noobs like me, especially as a solo. I always just try to set achievable goals for myself and avoid servers that are too populated.

Rust is like Minecraft for me, I love playing on a private server for a few weeks, get burnt out, and don't touch again for 6 months to a year

I could see that when you invest so much and die somehow against a guy that’s back is turned toward you and somehow makes an unbelievable shot to kill you. Instead of just getting into games I’ve watched a few live streams of solid players just starting out solo. You do need a some luck but theirs definitely skill involved. Learning to making accurate shots with a bow or crossbow takes time.

I play on my own private server with people, so dying isn't a big deal. There's just only so much you can do, and get burnt out

If you have a spare computer lying around, boot up your own server to play on 
Not as much fun playing around, but at least you can practice for populated live servers
