Absolutely correct. Grinding for an hour for a piece of equipment that isn't an upgrade isn't fun to me.

Finished Monk so I have all at 70. Ran 2 T1 rifts and must up resists, not too bad though with skipping from normal to T1.

Last night a friend and I started lvling a crusader, but so far the class feels really similar to a monk.

I think Crusader can be the most varied class in the game, but that is my personal opinion.
Ran 1 T1 rift last night and hit 3 legs and 2 set pieces (souls mostly) but 1 of those legs was cinder coat! A 15% but IDGAF at this point. Rolled 3 sockets first try so my fire DH is in business. Cluster Arrow with LFB is hitting mid 20 millions on crits.

At upper levels the don't feel the Sam at all, IMO. I miss the DPS of the monk sometimes.

Jeebus, my crusader crits are just now topping 1m. Can someone explain how replacing properties works I haven't used it yet.

9 fuking t1 rifts and 4 legs, 1 plan, 1 set piece, the legs were not upgrades and the set piece was marginal. 500 shards spend and nothing but blue and yellow. Not one leg from random mobs, not one leg, from any chest, and half the time the yellow cons drop only blues. If this is the way the drops are going to be I think I am about done playing D3 again.

Dude that's actually pretty good.
One every 2 rifts.
Some nights I go 5-6 rifts in a row without pulling shite. The loot system just sucks when you can't trade and need really specific items/rolls on those items.
The 500 shards does suck though. Kadala has been good to me lately. 200-300 shards I usually get 2 sometimes 3 legendaries and that has been nice for gearing up my alternate guys
They should be about done farming legs on my guy in the next 24 hours. It's been online for 2 days straight right now.

I seem to have the best luck on T1 or T3. Had been in a huge dry spell but I'm back up to around 1 leg per rift. The fact that the guardian isn't at least a guaranteed forgotten soul is some bullshite.

Am I gonna need those for something? I've been keeping them just because it says it's a legendary crafting material, but I usually get pissed when I see one instead of a weapon or armor drop.

You need to craft either Aughilds or Ashearas for the set bonuses, pick one or use whichever you happen to have. Also, you want 2 piece Cain's with the helmet socketed (put your best topaz in it).
they're very valuable and most useful when re-rolling weapons
