Diablo 3 Season 18

Drops today.
Anyone still play this? Haven’t touched it in two years and even then just beat the campaign. Never did a season; anyone else doing this one?

I played about a year ago for a week or 2. I didn't play when the Necro came out so that was fun. I was going to stop until the next season(15 I think) and saw that they basically didn't add anything.
Then I looked at what POE was doing and got sucked into that black hole. POE has 10x the endgame content of Diablo 3 and they add a ton of content every 3 months.
Diablo 3 is better to play casually but there is no new development.

It really is too much for me. POE is an absolute grind that I can't do anymore with a wife and kid.
D3 is a solid game now but only for 1 season every once in a while since there is little to no new development.

I tried POE for two days and just couldn't get into it. The content seemed great but I didn't care for the action controls at all, particularly player movements. That's just me, though.
I still jump on D3 for a few days every couple months but I don't play seasons. I just solo grind GRifts. My monk is a lawnmower on steroids, based around life per hit, life per kill, stun, freeze (+Sweeping Wind), and ridiculous DPS (LotU/Wailing Host, all ancient/primal gear) and she's inching up on Paragon lvl 1000, so that will be a fun milestone that keeps me coming back.

I'm playing Season 18 on XBOX. I try to play every season now I had all kinds of XP multipliers last season built into gems and my build and got to like Paragon Level 348 or something ridiculous like that.

you'll get there. you also have going in your favor not playing in a couple of seasons so it's all still fresh as hell for you
