Lol no, single player on this game is all coop and meant to be played with others.

You need at least 2 for some of them.

Some of the bosses in this game need a serious HP reduction. Fighting a boss for 20 minutes then getting cheesed to death and having to start over from the very beginning of the fight just makes me want to stop playing.

None boss in the beta should take that long, I can almost finish a strike in 20 minutes.

frick that I wrecked shite earlier today by myself

But yes it is a hell of a lot easier to do it with a full fire team. I wasn't touching the Devil's Lair mission again until some of my friends got on.

What's weird is I have found myself doing a lot better in Iron Banner than regular PvP.

I agree, I would like this game a lot better if the damn aliens didn't take 50 shots to kill

maybe the full game will have an "easy" level

Headshots. Most of the enemies go down with 2 or 3 of them.

Figure out how to mix in that with grenades, melee's, a shotgun, and your special and you are set.

I love the challenge of it tbh. If it is too hard look for other people running around and invite them to your fire team.

Yup, I turn the difficult for the mission up to the hardest one and go to work. All about headshots.

Really the only encounters that are annoying are the "boss" encounters in a strike team mission. When between the three of you, if you're going out of ammo multiple times in a single fight, it's just too long. If some sequence of actions decreases the time it takes to kill these things, Bungie needs to work towards making the encounters more intuitive.

I think though that decreasing the amount of hit points would do the trick. The time it takes to complete some of the encounters does not make them more challenging. It only makes them more tedious.

You shouldn't run out of ammo, other creatures drop ammo boxes regularly and they do a good job spawning them during boss fights for that reason.

I was having that problem in fights where I stayed off yo the side. I had to learn to follow up my kills to pick up the ammo.

I've never played an FPS where encounters requiring you to enter clip after clip into an enemy was fun. Destiny is no exception. I realize you can replenish your ammo. My point is that this is a symptom of the fights just dragging on too long.

Idk man, you seem kinda solo on that thought, most of us don't struggle that much it seems, playing with friends that are decent or having good gear doesn't take long really.

The only one that took long for us was the tank in the devil's lair mission, but that is mainly because that thing will frick you up with one shot.

This game sucks.

I've already played the campaign before, when it was called mass effect.

PvP is an absolute mess.

Bungie is dead.

I'm content, though. Just more time I get to spend on Halo MCC.
