I don't play dnd, but I love watching them play on Thursdays. I wish they would start earlier though

She's played with Mercer as the DM many times before. This is her first time on Critical Role.
She's been on previously on Force Grey with Joe Manganiello. (sic)
I'm glad she didn't use her main D&D character though as a 6'8 Amazonian Barbarian would have been a little awkward (Chultian Human).
I was worried watching it that she was going to be a female Gern Blanston (Chris Hardwick's brutally annoying character from season 1 of Critical Role) but she was really creative with this character.
They're in Los Angeles. They start at 7pm Pacific and it goes anywhere between 3 and 5 hours. They have day jobs too.

It's ironically been easier to catch them live in Korea (noon local) than when I'm back home in Washington.

SPOILERS.
There's something to be said about a short cute little Gnome taking down a blue dragon almost by herself though. She played that entire fight BRILLIANTLY.

One thing I'm looking forward to seeing is the Vox Machina one shot in January.
If you recall, in the last episode of season 1 after they defeated Vecna, Grog just couldn't help himself and went to the Deck of Many Things again...drawing the VOID card.
According to the story, getting his soul back from Pandemonium took 5 months.
Matt hand waved the entire sequence for narrative purposes.
In January, they're going back and playing that portion with their original level 20 characters.

That nerdy chick, who nerds used to drool over, Morgan Webb, plays D&D with ItsmeJP and his crew all the time on twitch.

Was Morgan Webb X-Play or Olivia Munn's predecessor on Attack of the Show?
