Days Gone sequel?

There is a petition to encourage a sequel to Days Gone. I loved that game and would love another one. The link is below. I'm sure it would take a few years to make. It had a massive open world..

If it sells well and is well received on PC maybe, still unlikely.

It sold pretty well on PS4. It was the 8th best selling game on PS4 in 2019. It beat Divsion 2 and MLB (which was still a PS4 exclusive). It seems like the crappy release state is what brought down the Metacritic scores initially, but I know a lot of people enjoyed it. Id say it deserves another chance. While their at it...give Sony Bend another shot at the Syphon Filter series.

Yeah but it had a bad launch and early reviews filled with issues that left a bad first impression. This is why Sony quickly shot down a sequel just months later when approached.
The game got a lot better but took a few. Now it's a fairly well received game so if goes well on PC it could sway them.

It's funny how simple people are. Just tell them they aren't getting a sequel and they start demanding one like they can't live without it.

Hype trains. It's all good publicity either way.
Would honestly not surprise me at all if it does well critically and sales wise on PC to see Sony unveil a cgi teaser at E3 or their own show of Days Gone 2 now being under development.

Same here. Absolutely loved it. Was never bored on any missions. Just hunting down the hordes and massacring them was worth the price. Most fun game I played this year.

I don’t know why there making yet another Last of Us remake (as much as I love this game.)
I didn’t get to play it until on PS5 but it was a great game. Would love to see a sequel.
