yep!

my str is at 20 right now, if i equip a weapon with say a 110 attack rating, the actual damage output from my right hand is like 175 or something, as per the character stats screen

i've noticed heavy attacks do even more damage than advertised also, guessing that adds somewhere in the neighborhood of 15% dmg

really wish they explained all this somewhere instead of making people figure it out on their own

So you are saying as you level up, your weapons' damage goes up with your STR?

actually some weapons like bows and dagger types go up with dex as well

magic stuff might do something similar but i do not frick with that shite

Decided to pick this up. Awesome game, dying is a bitch though. Killed the taurus demon and then got killed twice by that damn dragon.

I'm doing the pyromancer, but I don't know where to buy spells. Any advice?

How the hell do you rescue him without hitting him?

Out of curiosity, how do you know? How many hours in? What level are you?

Just finished the game with a total of 70 hours playtime, ya there's a few games I go really hardcore and this was one of them. Wanted to finish it quickly because I have an important exam at the end of this month and didn't need the disturbance. Enjoy the game guys!

Im on the freaking gargoyles. Any tips, because they keep kicking my arse. I killed the main one once, but I get fried by the second one.

Human form before you fight the boss will let you summon Sunbro(Solaire of Astora) near the fog, also I believe you can find the lightning resin somewhere around there that will help with the boss fight.

summoning anyone before boss fights is a huge help. It took me forever to figure out the whole "humanities" thing. I am not a demon's souls veteran, so not sure if that was covered in the first game.
