You are way, way too heavy. Is that even mid rolling, or are you fat rolling? The Artorias fight is one that needs to be done very, very conservatively. Dodge most of his attacks and quickly punish the ones that have long recovery times, like his straight sword forward dash. When he starts to buff, if you’re close enough, hit him repeatedly to break his poise. If you aren’t close enough, just stay away (that AoE blast hurts) and dodge until the buff ends. He has an extended move set during his buff phase, and if you’re struggling with the normal move set, his extended move set will wreck you.
It’s a fight of patience and focus. If you try to get aggressive, he will punish you.

I am right at mid rolling.

How do you do that? Lol
My brother, you said you’ve beaten every souls boss outside of that DLC. Draining New Londo is part of the main DkS1 questline. I’m confused

Get down to fast rolling and go into a fight not planning to attack at all. Just dodge. Dodge every attack until he kills you. During that process, pay attention to which attacks have longer or shorter recovery times. After you die, come back and every time he does an attack that you know has a long recovery time, hit him exactly one time. No more. Wait for the long recovery moves before hitting him again, one time.
Once you relax and watch his moveset, it becomes one of the most “fair” fights in the game.

I just googled and i definitely did that because I beat the game. Not sure how I missed the +15

The very large ember is very difficult to find. In the room with the first mass of souls enemy (the second is in the room right before the four kings tower), run past the mass of souls and up the stairs behind it on the right. It’s to the right, up another set of stairs, and right some more.
I left that very vague, because it’s extremely hard to describe. Just look up a YouTube video showing the route. That will make it easier.

You’re very welcome. And also, out of curiosity, what did you think titanite chunks and slabs were for?

What do you mean?
Presumably you’ve picked up titanite chunks and slabs at some point during your playthrough. If you didn’t realize you could upgrade your weapon above +10, which only needs small and then large titanite shards, I was wondering if you had given those larger pieces of titanite any thought.

Yeah I feel like an idiot because I was under the assumption +10 was it

If it makes you feel any better, I think it does max out at +10 in DkS2 and 3.

That’s got to be it. I played them backwards my first time 3 > 2 > 1

It does in 3, not sure about 2, because we don't discuss that abortion.

It’s not *that* bad

I’ll probably never play it again, but it’s worth playing once.

I enjoyed it for what it was

Dark Souls 2 was a good game. It was not a good Souls game though. It's biggest problem is the label it carries.

Why do you say that? Not disagreeing, just curious. I didn’t like the world

A Souls game comes with expectations. DS2 incorporated elements from Demon's Souls while straying from a lot of what made Dark Souls so well received.
The enemy placement was just bullshite in some areas. Tying i-frames to a stat was a dumb design decision. The color palette in general was drab. And the game just felt off. Boss design was extremely hit or miss. For a Souls game.
Call it some other generic RPG trope, and it's not viewed as harshly.
