Alright, I'm calling it quits for now. Opened the shortcut to lower undead burg. Gonna tackle Capra Demon tomorrow.

I recommend finding someone to summon if you can. He's a total douche if you face him on your own. It wouldn't be so bad if you had any room whatsoever to operate/could actually kill the dogs before he got to you. Instead you walk through the fog and take a sword double penetration to the face. He was by far my biggest challenge so far in the game.
