re: Dark Souls 3 Post-release Discussion (spoilers)

Just collect them from vendors... It's not as daunting as it seems (seeing as you can buy most of the spells/hexes/pyromancies/miracles from vendors):

The hardest parts were easily:
Farming kills for the bell covenant (need 30)
Farming Sunlight medals (also 30, easier if you actually summon sunbros during a playthrough, I forgot to)

Playing to NG++ Castle to get 2 miracles and a pyromancy.

Otherwise, it wasn't really that bad at all

You can burn Bonfire Ascetics at bonfires to reset specific areas, respawning enemies, bosses, and items that aren’t in steel chests. One example is the Old Paledrake Soul. It’s dropped by The Duke’s Dear Freja but only on NG+ and above. So for my last playthrough, I kept using Bonfire Ascetics at the 3rd bonfire in Brightstone Cove to reset that area so I farm the Old Paledrake Soul 5x so I could get trade them for the Moonlight Greatsword, and 4 copies of Crystal Soul Spear.

This doesn't work for the merchant in the castle fwiw... You actually have to go to NG++ to get him to sell the things.

I saw someone on another forum the other day has the platinum in all the soulsborne games. I'm sure there are others like him too.

I'm a few trophies away from platinuming Demon's but could never get pure sharpstone to drop and was missing a few rings. I sold my PS3, but hopefully I can finish it someday. I've done the others.

BB was easy, you just had to grind the chalice dungeons. Hopefully they remaster Demon's. Too many people missed that game including myself.

Just beat Laurence and pretty much have explored everything in the old hunters... Time to go kill little kos

P.S: Rakuyo is my new skill weapon, shite can rally like the mercy blade with the reach of the rupier form of the Ludwig's blade.

Can't wait to obliterate all of this content with my original character... and learn some of the other weapons that my skill build can't equip

Anyone playing DS1 on the xbox one noticing issues with the rings? My covetous golden serpent ring is not raising my item drop and I just attacked Seath for the first time with a Ring of Sacrifice and it did not break and save my souls.


I have not heard anything like this before from other people but its bullshite. I lost 30k souls and the serpent ring is useless.

I beat BB, and that was my first souls game. I just started DS2: SOTFS on PS4 (running at 60fps is glorious) I know the shite it gets but I'm enjoying it preparing for DS3.
