I'm on NG++ and I've had one weapon break. I use some weapons with low durability too.

I read that the patch came out for the durability glitch, not sure if it works.

I'm reading on reddit where a lot of people are saying they wish they broke their santiers spear before the patch... I have that weapon, does breaking it make it better or something?

Did a little research on it last night after work and farmed the twinkling titanites in Shrine of Amana to get it up to +5 then broke that bad boy and it has a beastly move set. I read that infusing it with Mundane is the best one to infuse it with but waiting to level up some more before doing so (at 145 at the moment).
Is mundane the best one to use since it scales with your lowest skill points (I know it doesn't have any scaling attributed to it as it sits now) or should I infuse it with something else?

So I may have suddenly found the durability glitch 2 nights ago, but I haven't tested since the patch downloaded yesterday.
I traded in the mirror knight's soul for his electric sword. That thing is almost completely degraded after 6-7 hits. To test it out, I killed all the dogs just outside McDuff's workshop 3 different times. Every time, the weapon was down to nothing after killing them. It's not even usable, though it looks really cool. I need to test this post-patch.
I have yet to find a weapon that beats out my maxed out morningstar. That thing is a beast.

You indeed found it. That weapon would fall apart just testing it out in Majula after a few swings. Haven't tested since I downloaded the update this morning before work. Will do and report back.

Santiers Spear is one for sure. Thing is a beast after you get it to +5 and break it. Glad I took some peoples advice on here and did so before the patch. I have two morning stars (one with magic and a vanilla one) and SS is far better than the star. Can't remember exactly where I picked it up (want to say from a chest in the door of Pharros after using a lock stone).

Only played the beginning but this seems to be a deeper rpg than bloodborne. Is that right?
