There's a fairly popular dude on yt who beats bosses like that at lvl700 and some people think he's hot shite. That was a lvl 240 on NG+13.

I noticed with vaatividya all of his videos, he's doing fights and wrecking them... like.. shouldn't be that strong, wrecking them.

needless to say, I just hoped he did that for visual reasons, and not because that's the only way he could actually beat the stuff - but something tells me it's the latter

P.S: I'm the same as you, I always beat shite at lower levels - I think in my NG+2 I was "maybe" level 120; I want to challenge myself. Though this can backfire, like when I fought and beat the Nameless King for the first time, I was 68

Do you really watch vaatividya for the skill though?

I actually don't watch him at all anymore, his theories got kinda old just after Dark Souls 3 was released. Not to mention, there was much better theories out there than him before he even came out with his first video.

So... yeah, I don't watch anything from him anymore :D haha

OKOK.

I am back from banland. I guess the Admins really are serious about Game of Thrones spoilers.

Anyway. About the game.

Here's my stats at about 13 hours in. It is OK to laugh.

I made it to Fisherman's Wharf and journeyed around. I am glad too. I told myself that what I'm missing here is a dungeon! It seems like most of the game is about going from one place to another.

I brought the Ghost Ship to port as well. I made it to the boss and nearly beat him the first time! He had some sick-arse moves, like over-the-head-behind-the-back stabs when facing the clubbed guy. I also found a way to run to the boss without getting hurt too much. I feel like I will be successful soon with this one.

Here's how I beat the previous bosses: Masterless Something or other. I would run, summon him, take out the huge guards, get souls, upgrade, and then do it over again. Oh, and then killed the bosses in the correct order to be able to use him 2x. Dragonslayer then Dragonrider.

For some reason you can't go anywhere in the Blue Tower. There's a knight that says I don't have what it takes yet I have the ring. I don't know his problem.

So I went the other way, and made it to the wharf!

I have no idea if I am putting my souls into the correct attributes or not, but I feel like I am playing well enough with him.

What sucks is I can't use the halberd like I can in Dark Souls 1. I mean a stabbing attack versus a vertical swing. Maybe that comes with getting stronger?

The wharf boss has to open up to something else, because I think it would be a dead end if not!

One of the better areas in the vanilla game.
