I don't know what everyone expects, but for me I expect it to work like MW2, have less gay shite like Commando, and have a few different tweaks that set apart from MW2. It looks like they're doing that with the pointstreaks and pointstreak packages as well as some refreshed weapons and maps.

not a bad thing IMO. MW2 was great minus the OMA+DC abusers

I'm seeing on GameStop's site that the Hardened Edition is $100, not $80. The idea of getting maps early, though...that may be worth it. IDK

+1
Game looks like mw2 which isnt a bad thing. Not sure why people expected it to look like BF3. Its no BF3.
Face value it looks like a blast. The guns they showed were blazing. Certain aspects were dissapointing. Deathstreaks. Stackable Killstreaks etc. But If it were going to be perfect they would let me design it.
Still its going to be another midnight COD launch party for Anti.

Hai.
I guess it's not a horrible thing, but think about the reason most people don't get the excitement for a new Madden or NCAA every year. Where has it really improved. You almost feel like a patch would almost be the ticket.

If I liked either of those two I'd probably feel the same way.
You can only change a game based on predecessors so much. Iyts not a stand alone 1st of its kind genre. It has certain rules/guidelines it has to stick to.
Im pumped about the customization on the killstreaks and hope that aspect makes it way to other parts of the game.

I guess for someone like me who grew tired of the formula, this isn't really helping reignite my interest. I get it for people who are still big fans.

Sure they aren't attracting a new audience but they are catering to the wants of the gamers who buy their titles every year.
Smooth physics engine. Fun killstreaks. Detailed maps... Infinity ward ftw!
