COD - How is it?

I've got MW3 downloading and i'm looking forward to playing after work.
There might already be a thread here that I missed, but how is the multiplayer? how's the campaign? Is there a co-op campaign feature for me to play the campaign with a buddy?
Let me know the good, the bad, and the ugly
Personally can't wait. MW2 was the first video game I ever played on Xbox Live and is a huge reason why i'm a gamer to this day

I've heard everywhere it was terrible. For 70 dollars it just reuses warzone maps and has like 4 hours of content. IGN gave it a 4/10 which they never do for any cod games, so you may have fun but from what I've heard it just isn't good.

The beta played fine. Its very close, feeling wise, to MWII. The mechanics, UI, hit detection, I find were very similar. I haven't played the release yet.

For the record, Warzone and MWIII are pretty much two different games. Warzone is still Warzone. Its at 2. MWIII multiplayer beta had some older maps that I was very fond of, like Highrise. The MWIII Groundwar map may be the same map as Warzone but I didn't play it so I don't know.

Sorry, but can someone explain to me how this works..
I only play Warzone.. so all of the improved movements, mechanics, etc are present in the MWIII campaign and multiplayer, but if I go to Warzone it reverts back to the old style?

There will be an update around Dec for all the mw3 changes to be implemented into WZ.
To the OP, MW3 is great so far. Feels amazing. Some of the maps from MA2 don’t play the same with increased movement but overall love it so far. Ppl who hate it are campaign figs.

I heard the campaign was awful, which is the main reason I buy COD games. All multiplayer is about the same.

I’m surprised people ever really cared about the campaigns. No CoD campaign was worth the price tag alone for me…even when it was $50 bucks.

Sorry dude. Loved the original modern warfare campaigns. I’ve played through them at least 7-8 timee

It's all I can mess with tbh. I don't play enough to be competitive. I wish matchmaking was done by hours played

For a first person shooter modern warfare 1-3 (originals) story was fantastic, I love them.

No one is making you buy or play this game. This is America where you still have a right to choose (for now). I don't get the need to come in here and question our choices.

I played a little this AM. Zombies is kind of like warzone which I haven't played much before. Was kinda fun.

Zombies is just DMZ with zombies. Which i don’t really mind but I only play zombies solo and at this point it’s pretty much impossible.

I have a group I play with that I’m sure will grind some DMZombies, but I can see it getting old. Wonder what they’ll do in a few months to spice it up after people have finished all the missions or whatever.
