Is this in regards ONLY to the jump spell or is this a round about way of saying they fixed the awful AI in this game?

Yeah. That alone just made up my mind to start working on black walls. But at the same time, walls won't matter if the new jump spell affects all the troops deployed and not just in the radius

There's no way this will last tho. WTF is the point of a radius if it affects the whole map? If they did this with rage and heal it would basically make the game unplayable. No strategy whatsoever
Sounds like this update is more of a "Hey, we're gonna upgrade all the stuff you don't use and make it badass so you spend more gems"
Actually, I guess every update is that way.

My lab is almost open. I may go ahead and upgrade the jump before they nerf so I can take advantage of the shenanigans

Sounds like they're trying to counter the hog effect in war. Everyone attacks using hogs, and designs their base on that fact.

yup. looking forward to attacking with nothing but non flying units and using jumping spells.
of course they may shorten the jump spell duration. lvl 2 jump spell lasts 40 sec
