Let me ask different questions:
1. Is there any single player/story mode?
2. I know you die a lot in this, but are you still able to level up your character and equipment?
3. If I’m getting my arse kicked in a match as one character can I switch to a different type during respawn?
4. Is it still fun even if you are getting worked?

Yes, hasn’t been an issue. The equipment doesn’t really “level up”’per say. Each role has three classes in it and within each class, is usually 4 primary weapons and 3 secondary weapons that you unlock as you progress the role.

Generally yes. Obviously, I’d you are just so bad you can’t ever kill anyone, you just won’t have fun. It’s not that hard though. It is just very hectic at times. Once you find the role and weapons you are good with, it’s not hard to stay alive and do some work. You just have to play smart.
I’ve liked the game and think I have gotten my money’s worth. I can guarantee everyone will feel that way with this type of game, but I do.

Knight has the most health and the beginning class in that role has one of the best weapons, so that is pretty nice. The second class in the knight role has a big shield that you can pair with the one handed spear. That is a really lethal combo when you learn how to use it.
Knight and Vanguard are probably the two most action classes. Archer you can get points easily, but you’re just sitting back shooting arrows.

Yea they are annoying as frick. I get killed or severely wounded by my own team’s archers more than anything.

I have Chivalry and Mordhau - I’d probably get this now if it were on Steam but guess if I ever get it I’ll wait out Epic exclusivity.

They patched the game today I think, maybe it’s just me but much more enjoyable, less of those how the frick did that guy kill me moments. This game is too much damn fun

Great they patch it after I broke my tv because of it.
Pro tip: if you ever get killed 5 times in a row without killing anyone or accomplishing an objective, just bail.
Hopefully they add more maps and such soon

Waiting for the Steam release, which should be early June 2022. Just passed on being able to get it on Epic for $16.
