Unfortunately yes. I guess it’ll be like that for this whole season. Luckily I’m pretty good and have been matched with some good (or at least Smart) players. Nothing worse than playing hardpoint and off spawn your entire team runs to the wrong side of the map

Exact reason I havent played ranked yet, havent learned the HP rotations.

I plan to hop in some matches this weekend to learn them. Then Ill try ranked. Dont want to ruin other players matches by being terrible.

What's the deal with ranked? Haven't played a match yet. Is it just a different assortment of game modes? And what do they "rank" you based off of? K/D ratio? Wins? Objectives completed?

its MMR ranking. You play 10 games to get your ranked.. like 0-2500 I think. And there is like bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and master. You only get points for wins and losses. No other stats.
And the worst part is youll still get matched up with kids who kill whore. Going 22-4 with 0 seconds in the hill. Like nice K/D but we lost.... 24 points per win and 25 lost per loss. Also think if you go on win streaks or loss streaks it will adjust you further in either direction. Never had that happen yet.

I was the same way. Haven't played since Black Ops II on ps3. Playing on Xbox One now. I play hardcore and am not that bad. I suck on standard mode.

Recently there was an update in hardcore, where if you killed three teammates in one match, you are kicked from the game.
This has been very unfortunate for me, as I sometimes throw random grenades over a wall or while capturing a point in domination I accidently shoot a teammate. There is also the score streaks where I am carpet bombing or whatever and a teammate who cannot hear me is pursuing the enemy when my bomb hits and kills them.
I am probably just above average on this game and I will admit the random grenade throwing I can stop doing, but a score streak is hard to stop from killing a teammate if they are all of the sudden in a pursuit of the enemy.
They did take it off of it counting as a kill against the guy you killed, but it should just kill me, like ghosts.
I had a hard time playing with a group of us yesterday and actually finishing games. I would throw a sticky bomb on someone camping a domination spot and then a teammate would run to grab the spot after I already had thrown the sticky and they killed the opponent and now my sticky kills him.
I`m just a shitty player overall I guess. I know when I`m trying to kill the enemy they don`t die as easy as my teammates do. I`ll just slow down and die more I suppose.

I know what you mean. Try using tactical grenades instead. That is what I started doing and my friendly fire dropped. There are still teammates who run in front of me while engaging the enemy.

Anyone tried to play the special Carentan double XP playlist with a party?
When playing solo it rotates between domi, tdm, kill confirmed and hardpoint (given you the option to vote).
However when playing in a party it doesnt rotate and is tdm the whole time.
This a bug or feature?

I get where you're coming from but I'm so glad they reinstated the 3 friendly fire kill rule. Far too often was I hopping into a match and getting killed on purppse by an idiot who is just team killing for the hell of it
It sucks getting killed by a teammate and having that count against your K/D
