BO Inconsistent Gameplay

This game is too inconsistent. One game plays fine the next it takes a clip to kill someone.

Shitty P2P hosting + poorly designed hit detection are to blame. Sadly these are at the core of the game and cannot be fixed.

MW2 had terrible ideas that created imbalance. But the core of the game functioned very well for a P2P hosted game.

BO has well thought out perks and weapons but lacks in the core of the game. Hit detection, spawning, matchmaking all the result of poor programming. This creates imbalance and inconsistent games.

I mostly play TD and my k/d graph looks like mountains and valleys. Last game I played - three separate bursts from my G11 into the chest of a non-moving target about 10ft away. I die. Kill-cam shows me never firing a shot.

Some observations:

If the countdown at the beginning of a match is less than 7 or 8, you are better off quitting and finding a better match. When you are host you will see 13.

If I load up my internet connection with downloads, streaming videos, etc. This stupid game will make me host nearly every time. The game is then unplayable. Most will have yellow bars and as host I will have ghosting/stuttering.
