Considering you don't know how many hours of gameplay are in it and we could be getting lied to, odds are 50-50 ATM. Either it will or it will not. We'll see.

Does anyone know whether we can play Borderlands 2 on single player?
Although I know it is better with 4 players, I’m enjoying the first game playing at my own pace. I prefer playing alone. Is it possible to play a character like Zero in single player?

OK I'm a little confused. I played through my Soldier and won the game. I wanted to go back and play all of the side missions but it started the game over with now a Playthrough 1 and Playthrough 2. I have to start all over again.

It's been a while so I'm not sure how the menu works, but make sure you select Playthrough 1 and you can finish all of the other missions without having to start over. Playthrough 2 starts over with all of the missions scaled up to what level you are.
