woulda went pick it up last night but ive got a test this morning. cant wait to be done with classes so i can kick some splicer arse and check out the multiplayer gameplay, which better be good since they friggin pushed back the release date for it

im considering getting it. the mutiplayer sounds good and I dont really care that the story and setting isnt completely fresh. let us know how it is

Give me as in depth of a review as you can on the miltiplayer, that will be the difference of my buying it or just renting and beating it.

I still have to beat Bioshock before I get into 2. The first one started getting to be the same thing over and over again and I got tired of it. I need to knuckle up and finish it so I can play/beat Bioshock 2.

ok ill have to let yall know tonight im kind of busy right now and wont be playing my xbox till around 3 IF i pass this math quiz lol. FWIW the game is pretty hard, im not playing on easy nor the hardes setting but if the splicers shoot you a few times your almost dead. The graphics arent as good a b4 and the game isn't as scary as b4

alright so i jumped straight to the multiplayer to give you guys a feel of how the online play is. first of all, its very unique. you actually start off in your "home" i guess you would call it as you can walk around and go to a gene bank to customize weapon loadouts and plasmid slots as well as bonus material i havent unlocked yet. feels like you are in the campaign mode but you arent. to go to the online lobby you must enter the bathysphere where the lobby loads and you can choose to join a player match or private match. 10 maps are available. this is as far as ive gotten. ill update more in a bit.

Survival of the fittest (free-for-all)
Civil War (team deathmatch)
Capture the sister (capture the flag? not sure)
Turf War (guess kinda like GTA4)
Team ADAM Grab (n/a)

i agree with muppet lol. another multiplayer update. you can hack turrets, use big daddy suits (when available), use plasmids. the gameplay is kinda slow b/c you cant run (if you can i havent figured it out) but overall id say its pretty fun. you can switch between weapons pretty fast so its easy to take someone out. im diggin it

dude i was typeing that from my phone i dont have time to sit here and synthesize a coherent video game review. You and everyone else knew exactly what I ment. and the graphics ARE NOT as good!

i just feel like it doesnt compare to anything. im not a big halo player (only played a couple times), but i find mw2 and halo extremely different. this game is unique as well. youd just have to rent it or something to know what i mean.

I played a little of the single player last night. Protecting the little sisters while they harvest ADAM is almost fricking impossible if you play on the hardest level of difficulty.
Their are really no new plasmids to speak of, and defeating the Big Sisters is quite possibly the biggest pain in the arse I have encountered in a video game.

yeah i have it on hard and ive died a couple times tryin to defeat the second big sister. i dont find it that difficult though. if you want a challenge then go play mass effect 2 on insanity. im close to declaring it impossible

i think if u play on hard u shouldn't complain about it being hard lol. i'm playin on normal and i find that i'm gettin better at the game as it goes. placing tons of traps or mini turrets down helps a lot with harvesting
