The skill thing is really pissing me off. I have been playing much better lately, still planting MComs but doing a better job of getting high KD games, and my skill keeps dropping. Had it over 500, now its trying to drop below 400.

ETA: I'll disclaim that by saying that Devious is not terrible at all, and he has a -61. It's got to be a pretty jacked up rating that doesn't actually mean you're good/bad. They say they use that number for matchmaking.

Every encounter counts...You can be over 300 one match and less that 50 the next.

Getting high k/d's in games full of noobs doesnt help you skill level. Killing players of higher rank is what moves your skill level up and getting killed by players of less skill moves it down.

I understand all that, but it should still be remotely the same or higher than it was if Im consistently improving...to me at least
I guess this applies more to the people it puts in our lobbies after we get in, since we usually browse servers to join and stack lobbies
