winning is so hard to do when you play with all randoms.... especially in bf3
The moral victory when I look at my stats. All with randoms, and for the most part, all in TDM.

So skill is the most telling stat?
i wouldnt say so, because one bad game can ruin your skill
SPM and W/L are my favorite measure points, but playing alone really fricks up your W/L

Score per minute would, IMO,
skill is only your encounter with other players so it has nothing to do with how well you cap flags or attack/defend MCOMS, or resupply/heal or revive, or destroy enemy equipment, or spot.

i think if there was any game mode that an individual could have the greatest effect on the outcome, it would be TDM. I would think conquest would be at the opposite end of the spectrum there.

TDM is one of the only games where one good player can really make a huge difference
if he can go 20-5 or so, thats a huge bump for the team
eta: damn you RA

Makes sense. What is the name of the app?

i played a whole round with devious the other day and he was squad leader
at the end of the round i looked up and noticed that no flag had been marked
that tells me that devious never spots anything.....i spot objectives by accident at least 8x a game, because i never lay off the select button
frick you devious

I don't realize if/when I'm the squad leader.
If I know, I spot them.
ETA: I should never be squad leader. NEVER. EVER.

Really? There's this giant title across the screen when you get made the new squad leader. Also, look at your squadmates' names in the corner of the screen...if there is a star by your name, you're the leader.

squad leader or not, use the fricking select button
if i'm looking around, i'm tapping select, i get so many random spots, you have no idea
anytime i see something in the air, i spot it.....i know when i fly a jet, its nice to see the other ones

i'll be sitting on a flag capping and trying to spot people and spot another flag by accident causing us to miss out on free pernts
but noz let me know that if i put my crosshairs on the top of the flag pole while i'm sitting on the flag, i can remark it
didnt know that

Out of curiosity, what's the point of spotting a flag, other than the "points". Doesn't it flash when your team is trying to cap it anyways? Or is it for you squad to let them know "I'm at this one"?

Have you guys heard the tip about joining as a squad, once you are being pulled into a game, the squad leader selects B, "Dont put me in a squad, Ill do it later" and it will pull your squad together into a locked squad if there is ample room and on a balanced team?
It doesnt work that well or that often, considering so few servers have one team down 4 people, but it does work in the right conditions.
ETA sorry if germans

It's supposed to be used to direct your squad where to go. Like, go to B, then after that SL will move the mark to C, and everyone is supposed to follow and get points.
But for me it's just points.

you laugh, but i pretty much do this

The only time I'm really mashing it is when I'm in a vehicle. If I see someone I know I can't kill, I'll spot them. If I see an enemy vehicle, I'll spot it. But I don't scan and mash select as I'm moving around. I guess I'm just more focused on getting to the next point that I don't think about it.

I press Select so much I started to me gusta that little sound it makes when the game is like "you pressed Select too much".
