Best current method to play Chrono Trigger

I have been wanting to play this game again for quite some time but need some guidance on what platform would be the best to replay this classic game.

Emulator on PC is the best
PSN version has the added anime cutscenes

If you can find the DS version, then that. Else, Steam version should suffice.

Probably go with the Steam version over an emulator if you want it on PC.
