So I played AC odyssey and absolutely loved. I love how much time you can spend in open world.
Will I like Origins as well? I’ve been hesitant to get it because it has mostly poor reviews.

Origins >> Odyssey
AC: Origins actually has a story you care about and one of the best voice acting performances this decade. Plus, it is set in ancient Egypt.
It is the first AC game I actually liked outside of Black Flag.
Edt: Bayek of Siwa is a very likeable character.

FarCry6 should happen, idk when, 2yrs?
Next AC I also think in 2yrs, new consoles.
I love FarCry games, the exploration is some of the best in gaming.

The story isn't that good. None of the current gen exclusive AC titles have really had good stories.
I would say though that the two games are very similar. Origins. Origins has less in the way of collecting various armor pieces and mix/matching. Bayek can equip looted weapons but there's not really any armor to loot outside of "outfits."

I never said it was, but in relation to Odyssey it is amazing. All AC games are shtt imo, except Brotherhood, Black Flag and Origins.
Odyssey is a boring lifeless world in comparison.

Story wise, yeah Origins is better. But the environment and the gameplay make it seem like the games were made 4-5 years apart.
Did enjoy fricking up those hippos and crocodiles though.

I put a lot of time in Origins(beat main story) I enjoyed it.. Black flag is still probably my favorite.. I’ve had Odyssey for over a year, just haven’t had time to get into it.. I’m still trying to finish RD2... also have the new Star Wars game

I played Origins for 20 hours and lost interest. Never finished it.
It wasn't bad, it just didn't really keep me interested.

How does this hold up? Odyssey was my first AC game and I loved it. I'm finishing up a Black Sails rewatch so I'm on a pirates kick. I'm thinking hard about picking up Black Flag.

I would not say amazing. At least the main story does focus on the actual assassinations this time.

Yeah wrong word or too strong of a word, it is a "competent" story.
But I did say "in relation" to Odyssey. I think that story is one of the most boring things I tried to enjoy.

Origins and Black Flag are the best ACs I've played.
