What does a teddy bear get you? I've never played zombies on this game, FWIW.

eta: MB. I just now saw you were asking Rondo.

I like Kino and we did well on it but Ascension is frustrating. I would rather shoot the dogs on Kino than those GD monkeys on Ascension.

I hate the guy on Five that steals your guns

Yeah, that dumbass doctor that runs around. I can never kill that a-hole. I die from the crawlers on that level every time downstairs. I have yet to make it out alive.

Only played it a few times but the random transporters fricked me all up and I could never get out of the first room it seemed. shite would transport me right back to it.

I never liked the FIVE map I played a little bit but basically would just find myself having to stay in the elevator to survive

Yea, it also depends on what area you are defending.

Yea I did that but my luck was I didn't have money to open the right doors to get to it sometimes. I would have if I didn't have to roll the box so much due to it giving me shite the first few times.

I got to round 47 last night going solo. U will eventually need ray gun and upgraded thunder gun. I just run circles on the giant landing pad over and over to get all the zombies lined up.

guns to keep and upgrade in order(imo):
1. Ray Gun
2. RPK
3. Thunder gun
4. Hk21
If you all get any of these guns with a decent secondary and upgrade, thats almost a guarantee of passing level 20. The best strategy I've used is to stay in the main room until after level 5, leave a crawler. Then go to the box and buy all the guns/perks and whatnot you need.

Then go 2 floors down and step outside and kill the crawler. Without opening the door to the stage you can stay here for several rounds to build up points. There will only be 3 spots for them to come through, so with 4 people, 2 guard the hallway, one the window outside and one the ground.

Once you feel good about the points you have, make a crawler, and open the door to the stage. I also like to have enough money to ride all of the landers and set off the rocket by this time. Once you do all of that go back to the stage, kill the crawler and survive 2-3 more round to get money for upgrades.

Once you get enough, leave another crawler and upgrade, we usually then just manage our ammo and fend them off from the stage.

The furthest I have gotten is 29, we all ran out of ammo and I could only phd flop so much.

Also make sure to buy jugg early, not only will you need it, but you need those monkeys for ammo

For the scientist in Five, upgrade your starting pistol. When the round is about to begin, wait on the catwalk upstairs in the Def-con level nearly opposite the stairs with a clear view of the teleporter in the center of the room. When he spawns, spam both barrels and he'll never make it to you. Hope that helps.

I've gotten to level 30 split screen on Ascension doing pretty much the same thing everyone has been saying but with two people.
