The update did cause audio issues. Which is a shame as it was pretty amazing before that with audio. The silent footsteps bug is a big issue with all the 3rd partying in this game.

This. Gun shots carry so far it becomes a huge rush to 3rd party in most matches. Lowering the distance carry but keeping the volume the same may be the solution but it doesn't seem that most people mind it.

It makes the pace up and down.


The other issue somebody may have with this game is the netcode is really bad. You will be shot behind walls a lot. Just kind of expected in today's world though.


Game is great though. Just some gripes.

Respawn did respond to the audio and hitbox issues the update caused.

Agreed. It was bad last night. I was having a ton of hit detection issues on people.

That's what I thought for a while too

The more I played though, the more I was certain something was off. Way too many times I lit people up only for them to turn around and melt me quick. I've played enough of the game to know when i'm just playing bad and get killed, but last night wasn't like that.

The damage scores on the after match screen weren't adding up either.

I legit nailed a target 10 times with a single shot Hemlock and only recorded 130 or so damage.

Yep. I noticed that too. Had a game where I got a spitfire off the bat and unloaded into a guy about a magazine and a half, then he got me. Post game it said I only did I think 90 damage. I was baffled. I by no means am some savant at this game and very will absolutely just miss shots and admit to that, but that was definitely a time i was hitting him and just nothing happened.

Whatever has happened the past few days, it’s gotten bad. They need to fix some shite ASAP.

It really is terrible.

Get 15 hit markers on a target and the damage report shows you did 30 damage

Also, a giant "frick you" to all the mouth breathers who have damn near 10k kills with multiple legends. Get a fricking job.

Haven't played since the update but was planning to get on tonight. Is it that bad? Should I even bother until they fix it?

To me, it feels really bad at times and other times it seems like there's no issue.

Couple times last night where it was just blatantly obvious.

A few matches, I didn't notice it much.

Yep. Games are just really laggy sometimes and the hit marker issue gets old pretty quick. So many times i'm just lighting somebody up and clearly none of them are actually registering. Way too many times am I sitting there feeling like there was no way I was outdone in that battle. I get the drop and everything.

Other games it goes fine. Won my last game of the night last night and it felt like it had the past couple weeks where generally if i'm losing battles, it pretty much just feels like I got beat.

I'd also like to contribute a big "frick you" to the mass pool of randoms that just jump Skull Town non stop now. I mean i'll gladly attempt a solo win, but i'd much rather my teammates survive the first 2 minutes of the game at least.

I pretty much jump skull town 80% of the time I play now. If it isn't too far from the path.

I have played the game enough now that getting the most kills possible is the only way I have fun.

But I don't play with randoms.

If you don't land Skull the lobby will sometimes go down to 10 teams before you even get in a fight.

yeah. skull is fun. I don't jumpmaster there, but, I certainly don't mind it.

Last night some micced up randoms and I were coordinated enough , once mid game came, to not open supply crates and close doors to buildings, to make it look unlooted, to set up an ambush.

There comes a point in the game when you just need to stop looting . Dont be a loot goblin. Leave supply crates unopened and bait shittys in.

I don't mind Skull from time to time, but not with randoms that just run off and get killed. Especially with my trend of getting paired with low level randoms here lately. That's been fun. Level 12 jump master, goes directly for hot zone skull town. This will go well
