Night creeps me out because you can't see anything until you have accidentally run over a bloater.

That is the point. It is supposed to be dark at night.

Well. That just happened.

Nice bug.

I don't think a Juggernaut is supposed to be able to get into your base. Heck, He is WAY bigger than the door to the container base.

I think because he is not supposed to be in the base and he was, he was impervious. Everyone was shooting him. I used up 3 top end melee weapons, he was wrecking everyone and was not dying wasn't getting staggered. Nothing.

I quit to desktop. Not sure if he killed anyone. He also had a nice feral with him for fun.

Clearly a glitch because I've killed a Juggernaut alone. With 7 other guns blazing at him, it should have been easy.

What a mess.

UPDATE

Not too much of a mess. Since I realized the game was glitching and bailed before he started killing folks the only long term damage was fixing 3 melee weapons.

Has to be. I've heard the main strategy is to get in a house and let him get trapped in a doorway and then head shot

I didn't like the way my game was going so I started all over with rolled characters and I took a long time to get the right mix of traits and no defects.

I have the best base for the map. I've killed a bunch of the plague hearts. I have the folks at the base cheerful but... I really wish there was some end game high powered items that you find as you clear out the last few plague hearts.

I wish there was some armor / weapons that made Juggernauts and Ferals run from you.

Pro Tip

Firecrackers. They can save your day when mobbed and getting mobbed can happen at any time if you happen on an infestation or hoard. Also being alone with a feral.

Pro Tip 2
Don't accidentally throw the fireworks when between two hoards when trying to move about stealthily.

Big Bad Bug!

Thankfully I killed the last plague heart with my .50 which I just purchased. The thankful part being that it was the last one because when I transferred the .50 using the trunk of the parked car...it disappeared.

Nowhere to be seen. 1000 influence down the drain.

I haven't been able to play much. I'm trying to move over to the Mike's Concrete base. Have you tried artillery strikes on a plague heart? I just got that perk and wondered if the building would protect it. I do know where a juggernaut is hanging out in the middle of the field that I am going to drop some bombs on him

Going to assume the strike doesn't work on hearts because that would make it a tad too easy. Not that hearts are that tough if you drop some fireworks then hit the heart with 7 or 8 Molotovs.

The .50 kills the heart with 3 shots and if you can spot them through a window you can drop them from outside with 3 quick shots.

They run from 1000 to 1500 influence if you buy them from a rare trader.

Oh, the game abruptly ends when you finish the legacy quest so only head to the final showdown if you are ready to quit or move to a new map.

You get to start the next town with 3 of your current folks and you get a bonus depending on the type of leader you won the previous map with.

I'm having trouble building influence. I really need to get into a bigger base at this point. Maybe sell off some weapons I do it need.

Just keep looting everything and selling junk back to traders. And loot everything in the spot the traders are located and sell it back to them.

Pro Tip

If you think you will play again after winning, make sure you have your best weapons equipped by the 3 folks you want to carry over to the next map BEFORE the final mission.

I don't know about inventory, but it looks like you keep the equipped weapons. I won't be done with this map until the weekend, but I'll test out the inventory / equipment on the new map.

I cleared out all the plague hearts in my first zone. I moved to a new zone and everything moved with it, people, guns, etc. What is the final mission?

Once you clear all of the hearts, you then need to build the leader's building on one of the large hotspots.

You then get several missions which involve fighting some survivors. Ends with a tougher than normal fight.

Sounds like you just cleared the hearts then moved to the next map.

Once you finish the legacy mission, you only get to start the next map with 3 players from your group. You also get a legacy bonus. Basically a complete restart but you get some bonuses to start out.

Moving without completing the game is just the same as switching bases, although I assume you have to find new outposts.
