I had taken about a year hiatus but have been pretty active since Elsweyr. Game has changed a ton.
Currently at 560 CP on Xbox
Stay mauling people in BG’s with my stamina Templar

My wife and I play sporadically. She plays way more than I do, but none of our characters are particularly high level (we prefer running storyline quests, and most MMOs reach a point where to get nicer stuff you have to do endgame raids and such, which after playing WoW and EQ2 for many years has no appeal to either of us).

Lots more DLC, higher max level cap, Champion point changes, rebalancing of classes and sets etc.
When I quit Magicka DPS reigned supreme in PVE and PVP.
Looks a little more balanced now with Stamina being higher dps for pve

Wife and I started playing last month. I log in daily for the rewards but I probably only really play a couple days a week. I think my highest level character is 35 or something.
It is a fun MMO. I enjoy the questing though most of that enjoyment comes from me liking the ES world.
The game will at least last me through the summer. I will see how much of an investment I will make into WoW Classic in August, though. That could drive me away for quite a while.

I play on Xbox, but since I work out of town during the week I only play on the weekends. I don't have any friends in game since I am a weekend warrior but that works for me. I need to figure out what to do with my champion points, but since I don't get a lot of time to play.....
Currently my main is a MagSorc CP162

Just started over on pc after playing on Xbox for beta/launch. I think I played a little bit again for One Tamriel but that's it. Having a lot of fun on a necromancer but it's not as good as my sorc was. Up to level 39 or so. Good to see a healthy population but good god the dungeon finder sucks arse and takes forever.

The Warden Stamblade has ridiculous dps pve or pvp, and as a tank in almost invicible.. however, if you know your rotations the magica necro build can give it a run for it's money, and both builds ate versatile and fun. I've got 7 max level builds and my necro is getting close(level 30 but about to max that on craglorn)and is walking at with a 48k magic pool

You mean Stamina Nightblade or Stamina Warden?

Lol yes, stamwarden, my bad I've been doing a comparison back and forth between the Warden and Nightblade and have found the Stam pools and survivability much higher for the Warden

I haven't really followed any builds. I figured I could respec endgame if I needed. However, I am enjoying leveling as a magic-based Templar. I have a good mix of self-heals and damage and I can solo most public dungeons. Still, I fear I may hit a wall.
Are precise builds necessary for endgame content?

No, you can play anyway you want in PVE, as long as you have decent rotations it's all good. Maelstrom is the only PVE individual event where I've found that you really need to plan for what you are doing, but its weapon drops are totally worth it

Just hit 45 and changed my build from dual wield to 2H and love it, feels like I have way better survivability and ultimate generation. Did my first battlegrounds, felt bad for my team because I had no clue what was happening but got the hang of it.

I wouldn’t recommend playing much battlegrounds until you hit 160 CP.
You’re at a huge disadvantage without the endgame gear you get at 160 CP+ and that can get discouraging.
Definitely do your daily random battleground for the bonus XP though

If you're on EUR I can craft anything you need. If not, I'm sure someone can craft whatever for you, you may just have to send them some resources depending on how high of level. Ive been playing a bit, so my resources don't really get depleted.
Undaunted quests have very good sets. Just remember where you got your best sets and repeat once you hit 160 for max benefits. Maelstrom has beastmode weapons

What's the best way to use my crown exp scrolls? I'm new to this.
Just started using them w/ the random daily dungeon, but not sure if there's a more efficient way to use them.

I just pop them before doing dungeons, try to do the dailies while they're running and I'm in queue. Minimize time not earning xp while they're up.
I hit 50 last night, pretty damn easy to do.

I’d hold onto them and use them when you feel like grinding out some levels. They have a few “grind spots” where people will put on training gear and pop a scroll to grind out levels fast.
I leveled my Stamina Warden from 20-50 in 4 hours going that route

Haven't got Elsweyr but have Morrowind and Summerset. The psijic skill line from Summerset is OP. Playing it over at PS4 NA.
