Don't own a vita. Wish I did. I thought about going to get one for this but can't justify it because I'll never use it again.

I still have my PS2 and the original though so if I ever get the itch it's there

There's a couple JRPGs on the Vita you might enjoy if you like FFX.....

Persona 4 Golden, Ys IV, Soul Sacrifice, Muramasa Rebirth, and a few others I could recommend but they have limited appeal (some roguelikes, 1st person dungeon crawlers, etc.)

There's also more action RPG/hunting games like Ragnarok Odyssety and Toukiden.

Playing on Vita and, yes, amazing.

One of the best FF's and having it in glorious HD is amazing.

The other part that blows me away is that I have this game and can play it on a handheld, in HD.

I didn't appreciate it at all when it was released and I've been a squaresoft/FF fanboy since the snes games.

Now Thanks to the remaster I've come to realize how brilliantly perfect it is and is one if the definitive FF games of all time right next to VII

i killed her with one attack reels from wakka

i farmed the high bridge in bevelle right before seymour natus and it made the rest of the game a joke. most nonoptional bosses weren't even given a turn. killed braska's final aeon in about 2 min

I never played X-2. I've always heard/read pretty bad things about it, so I never had the desire to jump into it. Decided to give it a shot and am about 2 hours into it. After just putting 80-plus hours into X, this game feels like its on speed! I really haven't enjoyed it too much yet and, if I quit now, wouldn't regret it. I actually managed to stay spoiler free after all of these years and know nothing about the story other than the basics, so is it worth sticking with it and experiencing it at least once?

I maybe played 10 hours of x-2 back on ps2 before my little bro put penut butter in the disk drive. Honestly don't remember much, but I'll probably give it a go since it came in the package.

I think it is. The battle system is the best in any RPG, IMO. It's fast and fun.

Battle system in X-2 is great. If you can get past the terrible story and some ridiculous parts - it's not that bad.
