Anybody noticing major controller response issues with PS5?

Haven’t researched but there seems to be major delays in controller response depending on the game.
Madden is full of bugs and the system will stall out and freeze. Other times it won’t let you select plays. Then your player will get stuck running one direction. Example, Brees running backwards 50 yards.
I’ve seen there also be the same issues on the Home Screen. Delays when navigating among applications.
When is the first big update coming out? Maybe that will clear it up.

I haven’t experienced any controller issues that I’m aware of. Been playing Warzone a lot, played a handful of hours of Vahalla also. May have been something there that I thought was the game. The game was a little glitchy while I was playing, so it could’ve been that.

I haven’t had any issues playing.
Madden is a POS game though. They do not like it on Reddit.

Yes, my controller stops responding regardless of what I'm doing. I tried researching the issue, but no luck. Currently, the only thing that works is long pressing the PS button to disconnect and reconnect several times. Eventually it starts working fine after several attempts.

Could be some issues within some PS5s but that sounds like just your everyday random Madden issue.

Haven't had any issues like that. Do not play Madden though

It’s spread to other games. It’s a system issue. Happened with both controllers. I don’t know how you report bugs but it’s a big one on my machine.

Today, for the first time, pressing the PS button would not turn the system on. Neither controller worked, they’d just blink a few seconds and nothing. Even plugged them in via USB to the PS5 and it wouldn’t work.
I had to press the power button on the PS5 and it boot right up. After that, both controllers worked fine. Didn’t notice a system update, so no idea what dark magic happened.
