I've googled but haven't seen anything concrete about a new production line, only them fixing the pistols that you send in. I have a can sitting at Bowies and wanted to attach a MkIV to it sooner rather than later.

ETA RA'd for move to outdoor board, sorry to bother my master race brethren

I think there is a production date/SN# you can go off of but I do not know it. I do believe that the new fixed safety's have a S when on safety not just a white dot. I sent mine in.

Google-foo for you

I don't understand the question...

If you are asking about new models, yes all new MKIVs will have a corrected safety. If you buy one that's been sitting on a shelf that the retailer didn't send back in, you can do so for free and get it fixed. As NOLAGT stated, corrected pistols will have a "S" in the dot for the safety position now.

If you're asking about sending it because you already have one, just simply start the return process online and they will mail a box to you that you ship the lower part of the pistol back in. Takes about 1 to 2 weeks and they send it back with an additional magazine. Pretty straightforward and easy, and it was a good move of them to give the free magazine for the extra hassle.

The couple places I have called said they sent theirs in and were waiting for new ones to be sent back out, but they haven't received any new shipments since the recall. Anyone see where they have resumed shipments of corrected weapons?
