Complete bullshite with this CPU. My guys wouldn't tackle for dick, even with a use controlled high hit to the upper body. They just spun out of everything.

i had a similar problem with kansas is RB he seemed to have this huge burst and would break the first three tackles, but i managed to overcome that with a 42 - 7 victory.

I lost to them last week. I was able to contain the run, my corners are just not fast enough, and the computer destroys zone coverage.

i held Kansas to 136 total yards. The TD came against my second unit. Kansas totaled about 78 yards passing with an INT and a td

I did come to one very clear realization. I wanted to try out the 3-3-5 to check out the pass coverages. Their QB went 34-52 for 378. No TDs & 5 picks, but Jesus. The 3-3-5 =

I can't tackle any of the RB's either. I won both games, but they just run up the middle or over tackle all day, lol.
It's crazy how I held OU, but couldn't stop Miami (OH).
What really sucked was immediately after returning a pick 6, my star CB and kick returner goes down with a broken leg. - out for 11 weeks.

i like the 3 - 3 - 5 but its taylored towards faster defenses and user games. Against the computer it eats you up. The cover 2 in this game is horendous, anytime you do cover two the cpu always has a wheel route. Thats how Kansas scored on a wheel route while i was playing cover 2. Plus the cover 2 doesn't really seem to cover the zones well. Slow corners = trouble because it limits what you can and cannot do.

I never have good enough DB's to play 3-3-5 and can't get any pressure on the qb with it either. The cover two does suck most times, but it's the best way I've found to get INT's against the cpu. Play press coverage with Cover 2 and if you can force the qb to pass quickly, then you have a good shot at a swat or INT.

Well if you go low on their back, he just hurdles you. You had to hit them high just to have a chance. The game was 24-31 with 1:45 left to go in the 4th, but of course I call a 4-4 crash blitz and their guy runs up the middle, breaking 4 tackles in the process, on 3rd and 12.
It's all good though. I have a decent team, I just need to recruit more speed and I'll be gold. It's not like any of us had a shot at the NC this year anyway. I'm hoping to still be able to take down Arizona State and USC and get to the Rose Bowl.

nothing sucks as much as the damn 4-2-5 i swear i have used it since it is TCUs defense and it has gotten me killed the last 2 games against teams i should have beaten. But im just going to get to working on my defense so i can beat OU.

That's all I use. It seems to work well at containing the run and pass because you can get a SS lined up instead of a linebacker. What defense does most everyone else use?
