I posted this before, but someone from the studio tweeted that this game starts to make a little sense like 4 or 5 hours in.

This is a Mikkelsen interview from over a year ago.

quote:

Mikkelsen said when he sat down with Kojima to discuss the project, the game developer tried to explain the entire plot of Death Stranding. Even with Kojima’s best efforts, Mikkelsen admitted he had no idea what was going on.

“He was trying to tell me the whole plot of the game, and it’s so elaborate that … I mean, I got lost,” Mikkelsen said. “But I really wanted to learn more.”

It seems like that's the path Kojima has always wanted to go with a game and just had to start his own path to do so. I'm in on this.

I haven't watched a lot of videos from E3 this year, but is Assassin's Creed starting to go away from the stealth aspect with this new one?

I haven't watched the gameplay on that either, so I can't speak on the stealth aspect (can't imagine going away from this), but I know they are leaning even harder into the RPG aspects they started with on origins, even including dialogue options.
