20 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 (PS5)

Bought it on sale a month ago or something like that for $15 and I thin the game is great. Really enjoying it.
Haven’t had a single bug, crash or performance issue.
Only complaint is that the city is too big and feels hollow in between areas you don’t stuff in.
Anyone else playing?

Played it since it came out, in my third run now since the next Gen upgrade came out.
It isn’t looked on the most favorably but it plays very well now. It’s one of the most ambitious games ever IMO. I absolutely loved it. Looking forward to seeing what they do with expansions too.

Got it on PC the first week it came out
I’ve never seen graphics like this game. However it felt bare and buggy so I stopped playing after a few days
I definitely plan on going back though since they’ve spent a year cleaning it up

The game post patch 1.5 is a really, really good game. It still has too many rough edges for me to call it great, but it's a lot of fun, regardless. Anyone who has the hardware to push it at reasonably high settings should absolutely play it.

This was my biggest gripe with it.
I don't want to drive for 10 minutes between objectives.
Just unnecessary.

You know there’s a fast travel system, right?

finally picked this up since its had time to ripen. Got to say im really enjoying it. no bugs or issues. pretty good gameplay. narrative so far, ok, getting there.
im glad. cyberpunk is one of my favorite genres and was really highly anticipating this.

I mean, since the game has been out for over a year, I would hope not

just putting it out there since that was such an issue at launch.

I do look forward to playing this game again one day with the PS5 enhancements without the game crashing every hour.

Bethesda games routinely reach EOL still needing an "unofficial patch" from modders, so...

Pro tip: the game makes basically zero distinction between what will be a one off random mission and what will turn into a half dozen mission long sprawling storyline. There are some really great stories off the beaten path of the main storyline.

I am pretty much trying to do as much side stuff as possible right now. I feel pretty OP, but I feel like that’s going to happen if you do the skill tree.
I also didn’t know you could ‘upgrade’ your gear. So that was game changing lol.
I haven’t played much recently been out of town. I’m probably 35 hours in.

I played on "normal" and got fairly OP fairly quickly. With that said, playing a glass canon netrunner, that felt appropriate.
This is the advice I'll give you: try to rotate between main story, side missions, gigs, and NCPD scanners. Don't do any one category for too long, especially if you feel yourself burning out (side missions being the one possible exception, as I can't fathom your burning out on those). If you meet someone new in game in person, do their missions. Respond to your text messages (if you see a number badge over the phone icon in the bottom left corner). There's a lot of world and character building in those, especially late game.
Honestly, my biggest complaint about the pace of the game is one I've been complaining about for basically my entire life as a gamer: the main mission is conveyed as uber time sensitive, and then they fill the world with content such that it punishes you for rushing the main mission. There are some games that you can get around this somewhat (the second time I played Oblivion, I literally avoided Kvatch for like 80 hours of gameplay, then once the first gate opened, I went full bore main quest), but with the way the game world is closed off in CP until you reach certain main quest milestones, that's not really possible. So suspend your disbelief and enjoy the world for all it offers. For all the flaws that still exist, it's really, really impressive, nonetheless.

This thread made me purchase the game.
About 20 hours in myself and it's a blast. Definitely frustrating at times but it's running great on pc.
Looks absolutely amazing, even after turning off ray tracing after experiencing it a bit.
Wish I would have read up on attributes and what not. I spread em out more evenly than I should have. Too late to start over

What level are you, what's your playstyle, and what's your distro? I doubt it's irredeemable 20 hours in.

I'm lvl 22. been mostly messing with the sword and upgrading my fists to knock out these fighting missions for coach. I need to find better weapons.
right now I'm 15 body, 5 reflexes, 12 tech, 5 intelligence, and 5 cool.
It's not so bad I was getting my arse kicked a lot, think I was just doing side missions that were a little higher level than I am ready for. Some of the cyberpsychos I went after were killing me in two hits and I was hardly damaging them.

You've still got 28 attribute levels to spread out. You're good. And honestly, your current build isn't what I would consider spread out. I consider 6 in each stat to basically be the floor late game. I actually pushed them all up higher than that. Int 20, then just kind of used them as needed. Said another way, I wouldn't immediately use attribute points when I leveled up. See a door I want to go through that requires a point or two more in tech than I have? Bump it up and go through the door. Etc, etc. And Body is just generally useful as it (annoyingly) dictates whether you can use high level cyberimplants, including the ones that affect nethack cooldowns, etc.
Pro tip on the fighting missions: gorilla arms are legal. I played as a glass canon netrunner and still crushed those fights.
Second pro tip: leave the cyberpsychos in City Center and Heywood the frick alone until late game

Yeah, it's def not as spread out as when I started. Made me unable to do some things at the beginning.
Finish all the fights, gorilla arms are what I used, some of them still sucked tho.
Center and heywood are def the ones I died a lot on. have been working on all the others.
Worst mission so far, finding the damn lost taxis. Soooo annoying.
