An update on crafting, in particular armor/weapon smith.
I cleared my first starter zone at lvl 16 saturday morning and didn't want to go to the next zone until i brought my crafting up to speed to the 16-25 zone. Well the armor smith wasn't too bad and took roughly 800 ore to get to 75/75. The weaponry is a whole nother animal I'm currently sitting at 73/75 with about 8 hours tied to farming.
I went back to a different starter zone to farm the ore and wood needed to level and cleared the content as I went. I'm now sitting at level 23 just from farming and completing the events.
In the long run I think the professions are going to be a task to max out which I like. If you're thinking weapon smith be prepared for a lengthy grind from 65 to 75.
For an extra tip....if you find a good spot to farm especially one with a large mining node, you can log out and back in to refresh the spot. I think this is due to the hold over servers being used instead of a character always being on the same server. I did find one large copper vein that I managed to get 200 ore off in 15 mins by simply mining then returning to character screen. This also works for chests I do not know if this a violation of the TOS...

I think i have about 150 leather I can send you if the mail system is working today. Farming for leather, cloth, and those dreadful blue items is easier in the human starting quest killing centaurs. The little bags they drop hold a good bit
ETA: just make sure you don't get in the event to kill the big hand thing or you'll have to start farming all over. The centaurs provide a pretty steady flow at the bridge of the castle.
