There can be no doubt that zaxby's is the only good thing to ever come out of Statesboro Ga., and yes it is better than cane's.

Zaxby's is pretty good, but I prefer Cane's flavor a tad more. I give the nod to Zaxby's because of their menu options.
There's one on the way into Destin on HWY 98. I normally stop on my way out.

Had Zaxby's for lunch today...They have a much better menu, but their chicken is not nearly as ood as Cane's. Much smaller, and i dont think they use fresh chicken. Their sauce sucks also.

Canes is much better. Even though it is fast food, it doesn't really taste it. I will take Canes over almost any chicken tender any day

canes chicken is good, but i don't like their sauce and the fries are shite and the texas toast isn't very good. i'd rather go somewhere else than pay more to go to canes.

It's not so much hate for me, it just became alot less attractive to me because of price.
I came to BR in 2003 to go to LSU and my freshman year I could get a box with 5 fingers for $5.00 even. (without drink) Now if I want to get the same think I pay $7.40. So basically there has been a $2.40 or almost 50% price increase in 6 years.(it was still $5 into 2004 and maybe even 2005) That's my only problem, they raised prices alot, took away quantity, and the quality honestly seems like its not quite as good as it used to be.
That being said I still eat there once ever few months because it is good.

I live in Athens now, so my choices are the one Raising Cane's near UGA's campus OR the 750 Zaxby's scattered throughout the city.
Zaxby's does have a more extensive menu, and their wings are pretty good for a fast food joint. That being said, their fried fingers, fries, sauce and toast pale in comparison to those from Cane's. So, if it's wings I want, I hit Zaxby's. If it's anything else -- Cane's.
As others have said, Zaxby's food might be a bit cheaper, but it tastes old, frozen, pre-packaged...a little too "franchised" if that makes sense. Their sauce comes in pre-packaged containers from some supplier; doesn't even have a good flavor. The fries are not good. All in all, the only reason I'll spend money there is for their buffalo wings which are good.
Oh, and the occasional order of fried pickles.

Winn Dixie in BR (Old Hammond) > Cane's. Hell, most places are better than Cane's.
