Does anyone know of a place where I could buy Yuengling beer in BR or anywhere else in LA?

Can't figure out the reason so many people care for this. My opinion: About as exciting as a Miller Lite.

Great beer & even better on tap. Had it on a trip to Philly a few years back & fell in love with it. Local yocal at a bar introduced me to it & I've been hooked ever since. As far as the miller lite reference.......only if you leave the Yuengling opened in a hot garage for a few months.

I Agree with this dude.

The attraction to this Overrated Beer is the same as the attraction to Marijuana. People want what they cannot have. If you make Marijuana and Yuengling Legal in the State of Louisiana, then many would not want it; Only the idiots.

i remember in college (YEARS ago) we couldn't get Coors and people would drive to pick up cases, etc. Seems kinda silly now.

I remember having it occasionally when out of town but now that I can get it here in Nashville its not that big of a deal. Its just an average beer to me now.

Seriously...get over yourselves. It's a crisp light body beer. Good for drinking in the summer, and a change of pace for something with a little more flavor than the other "light" beers. Nobody is claming this beer is ground breakingly good. It's America's oldest brewery that still makes beer. It must suck so bad that it survived this long.

Wasn't this the plot of the first Smokie and the Bandit Movie?

My favorite part of the Movie was when the Snowman stopped at the greasy spoon called the "Choke'n Puke".

I'm not in love with that beer. If it didn't have the story behind it, people would take a sip and think it's crap...but since it's the oldest brewery...

Local beer guy told me it may be in Louisiana next year... not to get anyone's hopes up but I might be saying the same thing a year from now.

Not much different. It's fine, but if you can't find it, you are not missing out on a whole lot.
