He's not far off. I think he cooks the shrimp too long, and I would have used shrimp stock.

Would demolish.

Looks good. I don't mind slightly overcooked shrimp. My dad overcooked every bit of food he ever cooked so I grew up thinking that was normal and learned to like it all.

another rabbit hole to get lost in.

Etouffee looks good.

Beef kabobs and veggie kabobs look good.

Fried chicken looks good. I've never had any luck with buttermilk fried chicken.

No way? That sounds like tailgate food for the Arkansas game next year.

They was a time he was showing up on them contest shows, he was, on Food Network fairly regular like. He beat that city slicker Bobby Flay on “Beat Bobby Flay.”

I’ve took a liking to his videos on YouTube for several years, I reckon. He almost always is cooking outdoor chuck wagon style, but most of his things translate easily to your momma’s style of kitchen cooking. Yeehaw.

This. Guy's obviously a good dude, and he cooks better on a damn ranch better than I ever will in a kitchen. Love his videos.
