Mary Ann, Tom’s wife, has been guest hosting the weekday show with him since last week. This should be a catalyst for a more robust show with a higher number of listeners.

Ugh, no. The Mary Ann stuff will not improve his fading (faded?) appeal. We need some new voices in food. Every major print reviewer is from somewhere else, Poppy Tookers voice makes my skin crawl despite her ability to land interesting guests.
It’s a funny day in food media when the Rouses monthly food mag is the best thing in town. Maybe the Advocate NOLA merger will lead to better/more diverse coverage?

Does he even do a daily newsletter? Maybe the one people pay for, but the free newsletter hasn't been updated in days, and still has a headline about strawberries that Mary Ann wrote weeks ago....and yes his newsletters have been full of typos for months......he is definitely slipping.
