Wine Guys - Anyone tried the Molly Dooker brand wines? Opinions...

I've got a gift certificate to a local wine store and the owner is really pumping these Australian wines. Some are modestly priced, and some are through the roof.
Anyone tried them? The store owner seems really keen on a blended red named "Two Left Feet"...

They are huge, fruity Aussie wines. Not my style but lots of people like them. The are indicative of the Aussie style.

Molly Dooker Two Left Feet is the best wine under $25 that I've ever had. I don't find it to be hugely fruity.
The Maitre D, while really good, wasn't as good as Two Left Feet.
I'm anxious to try Velvet Glove, Carinval of Love and the Miss Molly.

That's a pretty strong statement, I may have to check it out.

Definitely do!
My favorite wine under $15 is 14 Hands cabernet.

Blue Eyed Boy is a great shiraz. Check out their youtube videos. They seal their wine with nitrogen. You are supposed to pour a little bit out and then shake the bottle to release the nitrogen.

This is correct. The Blue Eyed Boy is a great wine and about $55 or so. Maitre' D and the Boxer as well. Two left feet is a blend of Maitre D, The Boxer and Scooter. All are really good wines.
The Velvet Glove is exceptional although a high price point. It's over $300.00 at Ruffino's.
Blue Eyed Boy is probably the best in it's price range for my taste.
Apparently you are looking at Calandro's because I believe besides Ruffino's that's the only place you will find that wine.
I recommend them. Also look at the Beau Vigne's and if you can find the upper Orrin Swift's, Pappion and Mercury Head they are great as well. The big brothers to the Prisoner which isn't a bad wine at $30.00 at all.
I've been drinking the Mollydookers for several years and Ruffino's had a Mollydooker winetasting back in the fall and we met the owner Sparky and his mother. Great stuff. Give one a ride and let us know how you like it. I don't think you will be disapointed.

In New Orleans, you can find them at Martin's Wine Cellar, including Velvet Glove.
I paid $24.99 for the Two Left Feet, if I'm remembering correctly.
I don't remember how much Velvet Glove was...as I didn't splurge for it.
