Totally agree Kev, like the place a lot. Just a random experience last night that I'm sure I'll get over. Felt like this was the board to bring it up at.

I guess people are freaking out because in my first post I said avoid the place at all costs and acted extreme. If it makes TigahRag happy, then I take that back.

seriously .. what did you expect ? 37 replies with everyone saying "yeah dude, you're right, frick that place ! i am going to email this to 100 of my friends to stay away from that place !" ... i think this is a story you should have kept to yourself if you don't want to be disagreed with and just coddled ..

I'm sure they are they type of crew that will go to a bar like The Cove and drink Bud light all night.

i could really give two shits, dude .. but if you leave your threats out of the first post, the discussion would have been a lot different ..

The Cove is too expensive in my opinion. This isn't Manhattan...

I have several friends that bartend there, as well as one banned TD poster. I'll do some checking on this DB's story and post my findings.

Btw, really enjoy the place, and Tom's not putting up with DB's is a prime reason.

I like being disagreed with. I have no problem with you telling me that we were probably in the wrong. You really think that I would make someone stop going to a place because of what I write on a message board. You would be out of your mind. Sounds like you need a beer at the cove. Just don't drop the pool stick.

I'm sure everyone will just jump on what the bartender says as truth but that's fine with me. And stop calling me a DB it hurts.

TigahRag, I already told you, you won. Why post? To try and get my post count up. I am low and have been a member for awhile and thought this was good topic. Guess I'll try again.

nah, you have your story, the bartender will have his, and the truth will be somewhere in the middle, like it always is in life ..

Probably in mid 20's. I thought it was a douchey move but that's my opinion.

It was just a walk up and told him to leave. All of that talk was while we were walking out but they had already made up their mind and weren't listening.

Oh and it was just one guy that was asked to leave and not the whole group. We just left because of protest I guess. So, No, it was not a bunch of college kids acting up and asked to leave. It was one person because of the pool stick and we all followed.
