Hehe. Yeah, I don't care for the Biere Pale either. The Passionne was drinkable. And cold.

Plates piled with meat and cracklin are brought to the table. Take what you want. When the plate's empty, they bring out another one. I did find that with each successive plate, the meat was from a different part of the hog.

I saw the pictures they were posting yesterday on their facebook page.. It looked like a beautifully roasted hog.

I like the idea of having it during the week.. Casual, comfortable.. family style. Would like to check it out sometime this summer if they do it again.
