Ever since I tried the Lincoln road Starlight cigar last year, I've been on the lookout for anything finished in Amburana. So good.
It's had time to open up,so I'm going with the blind head to head.
Update: the new release is richer and sweeter. The mouthfeel really is incredible. There's more spice from the special release and also a Dr. Pepper/cola note that I didn't really get from the new one. They both have banana, maple, and rich caramel. Really enjoyable pours.

Where do y’all buy your bottles around Baton Rouge? I’ve been wanting to try some good whiskey but I don’t see 90% of what y’all are drinking at the grocery store.

In the past month I’ve bought Buzzards Roost, Russell’s Reserve and Red Breast. Buzzards Roost and red breast have been my favorites.

A lot of what gets posted here is craft or harder to find stuff. You'll need to do to a liquor store instead of just grocery store.
Speaking of craft, what is y'alls favorite bottle, less than $100, from Seelbach's? Give me 3 bottles or so I must try
