Bills/Bengals should be incredible. Both kinda looked past division rivals because of the qb situations.

Still no luck hunting down the sherry sagamore, but I'll get it at some point.

Starting the week with a fresh crack of an old favorite.

First impressions of the new year 23?

Initially cinnamon on the nose, after it sat for a while had some red fruit and a bit of caramel, then the oak/nuttiness that I get from most Barrell products (I enjoy it). On the palate, more of the same, upfront red fruit, then sweetness followed by nutty/oaky-ness on the back end. There some other stuff going on there, but I’ll have to dive into that at a later date. Medium finish.

Overall I enjoy it.

You aren’t going to see this on any shelves in Louisiana, but it is really, really good.

Templeton was the first rye I bought to sip by itself. I used it frequently for old fashioneds as well. They got in trouble for false advertising a while back. I need to try that one and the barrel strength at some point.
