I’m having dinner tonight at Nobu at the Atlantis. If this menu is right I’m getting fricked up on GTS tonight

It’s gotta be Stagg Jr

2PD

ETA: a restaurant here in Lafayette had George T Stagg on the menu for $20, I asked to see the bottle and it was Stagg Jr, which even if it’s Stagg Jr that isn’t a horrible price compared to Eagle Rare at $18 from your list

1PD. Well my bookie paid me so I decided to grab a bottle. Hopefully I like it.

They were out of GTS (not surprised), so I’m working on some Eagle rare

First thoughts on the blue run. I was expecting it to be better. Hopefully it will get better my 2nd pour. A strange finish

if you scroll back you will see me saying I am not fan of either bottles. I have let these bottles sit a bit and should revisit

Yeah. I went against y’all judgment and apologize. I’m a rye guy so I went with my gut.

If it’s not from a distillery that I know, I’ve been pretty wary of drinking younger stuff lately. I can’t stand Chattanooga or the new Cream of Kentucky BiB rye

3PD, finally finishing this bottle. I liked it initially, then didn’t like it very much, then liked it again, and this last pour isn’t my jam. But of an odd relationship with this one

I do not like the high rye. I’ve tried it on multiple occasions and disliked it every time. I feel like I wasted my money. With that said, I did enjoy the rye when I tried it

I just inherited a bottle of Old Forresters 1920 Bootlegger and a bottle of Hudson Bay whiskey. Anybody have any comments or criticisms of these two?
Might be a few weeks before I get a chance to crack them open.

As a heaven hill fanboy, it's been a good week. Two EC BP picks and finally found this one
