Damn. You still out of your house? How much damage do you have, or are you just staying out until power is back?

Staying out till power is back and we booked this when they said 30 days with no electrify and the condo is a prepay, no refund

It’s all good. I can remote work and the Kiddo is doing remote learning for school starting next week.

Anyone order from Bourbon Central online? Pricing isn’t great as expected, but mainly looking for convenience on getting several bottles from a single source.

I was doing the same thing. Power came back on for us late Friday night, so we drove back Saturday.

It’s pretty good, id say a bit dry but very enjoyable. No typical sweetness

FPD is a Willet Rye OF. I’m entirely too lazy to take a picture today

I’ve been considering grabbing one from Steelbachs. May do so hearing this praise.

1PD with a Rocky Patel while the white and kids are off playing with friends.

If you enjoy finished whiskey, it’s good stuff.

Especially for $80 shipped.

ETA: this Cabernet finish is basically strawberry jam with caramel on top.

The finish and the age compliment each other nicely on this one. Drinks well below its proof, as well.

A buddy of mine went to the distillery and said they have 8+ year old stuff. Wonder when they’ll bottle it, and what quantities it’ll be in. Even their 4 year old stuff is good.

That’s good to hear; I didn’t know they had an 8 year product yet.

I was blown away at their 4 year bourbon. Kudos to them for doing whatever they’re doing. The 6 year is cut from the same cloth: awesome.

A “local” liquor store has a single barrel store pick. I just don’t feel like driving almost an hour round trip for it though…
