Unfortunately (but not surprisingly), it looks like it's priced like Willett as well! I'd like to try both, but my inclination would be to get the rye first.
I didn’t grab a rye (yet), but I can help you out with tasting the bourbon. What I’ve read is that he bought 3 days of production from Willett, multiple mashbills, and had them stored and aged at Castle & Key.

Good afternoon gentlemen
Early kickoff with a great Sazarac riff
I didn’t have lemons, so lemoncello will do as a substitute for simple syrup along with 50% honey simple syrup. Also ran out of single barrel Rittenhouse so used 50-50 with JD Bonded Rye
I must say this is delicious. Orange twist since I don’t have lemon

Absinthe atomizer FTW

Good evening gentlemen.
Epic, a sample would be great. I'm almost certain that the rye will be my next high end purchase.
JD bonded rye is one of my favorite shelfers for cocktails. I'm over halfway through my second bottle of it.
I finally decided to give this one a try. I almost bought it after seeing the breaking bourbon review over a year ago, but am glad I held off. On clearance at Rouses for 70. Other than JD, I haven't had anything in this category.

How is it? I really enjoyed the JD. I’ve been tempted by Westward in the past but never pulled the trigger.

It's good! I found a lot of similarities with Irish (redbreast in particular). There's honey, cereal, and a ton of fruit. I get a good bit of peach and citrus. The ethanol wasn't too pronounced which is a plus for a neck pour at 125 proof.
If you find it at 70, it's easy to recommend. I probably wouldn't have been mad if I paid full price though.

Good evening t00f. This is one I usually reserve for the holidays, but sometimes the mood just strikes.
