Is that the one from causeway?
How does it compare to the MadVines pick?

Whisky Mail today all from Seelbachs can’t win to try the Starlight and took a punt on the Rolling Fork Four Square but it sounds damn good as well.

FPD couldn’t wait, am I crazy or do,some of these have almost a coconut confectionary note on the nose? Very different flavors that you don’t associate with bourbon in a good way.

I almost pulled the trigger on that seelbachs bottle (and the one finished in rum barrels), but found a local pick for slightly cheaper. How does it compare to the Lincoln Road pick?
I’ll go back to my barrel bottle tonight since it’s opened up, but for me starlight has done amburana the best (nulu, barrel, starlight).
I do have a plantation rum finished in amburana that is very interesting though.

Never had the LR pick. this is the first Amburana finish I tried. Glad I opened it cause now I am getting loads of Allspice, clove and cinnamon. on the palate perfect for Fall and the holidays.

The taste reminds me of an old fashioned cake donut.

If I hadn't already poured this before reading, I am sure I would have been reaching for amburana as well.
